FAQ'S
Cruelty-free products are those that are not tested on animals at any stage of their development. This includes both the ingredients used and the final product itself.
Opting for cruelty-free products helps protect animals from unnecessary harm and suffering. By supporting brands that do not conduct animal testing, you promote ethical practices and encourage the development of alternative testing methods.
While we do our best to offer vegan and cruelty free products, not all of our products are certified vegan and organic.
For example, in some instances, honey is used as an ingredient. Some products have a mixture of organic and non-organic ingredients.
The best way to find your favourite preference is to use the 'sort by' option on each collection page. If you select 'vegan' it will show all products that are vegan. Likewise for organic and other options available within the 'sort by' menu.

The Essence of Herbal Teas
Herbal teas, also known as tisanes, are beverages made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant materials in hot water. Unlike traditional teas, which are brewed from the Camellia sinensis plant, herbal teas can consist of a myriad of ingredients, each with its own story and health benefits.
The Bouquet of Blends
From the peppery zing of ginger to the tranquil embrace of chamomile, herbal teas offer an impressive diversity. They can invigorate, soothe, detoxify, or heal. For instance, peppermint tea is known for its ability to refresh and aid digestion, while the calming properties of lavender help alleviate stress and insomnia. Echinacea, on the other hand, is sought after for its immune-boosting capabilities, especially during cold and flu season.
The Mood for Herbal
Herbal teas have the uncanny ability to align with our moods and needs. Feeling under the weather? A cup of elderflower tea might be your botanical ally. Need a moment of Zen? Reach for a blend with lemon balm. In need of a detox? Dandelion tea is at your service. The list is extensive, and the beauty lies in the fact that there’s always something new to discover and a brew that’s just right for the moment.
Going Beyond the Cup
What’s equally important as the tea itself is how it reaches you. The modern tea drinker not only craves quality in their cup but also sustainability in their choice. The shift towards organic herbal teas ensures that the ingredients are grown without harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, promoting biodiversity and better soil health.
Packaging with a Conscience
The environmental impact of packaging is a topic of increasing relevance, and the tea industry is taking note. Companies are now offering compostable and recyclable packaging options, from tea bags to boxes. Compostable tea bags, for example, break down into nutrient-rich compost, contributing to the cycle of growth, rather than piling up in landfills. Recyclable cardboard boxes and tins ensure that we are not contributing to the single-use plastic menace.
A Cup of Sustainability
Opting for herbal teas with eco-friendly packaging isn't just a personal choice; it's a communal statement. It shows a commitment to preserving the environment, supporting ethical farming practices, and endorsing responsible consumption. By choosing these products, you’re partaking in a global movement towards a more sustainable future, one sip at a time.
The Ritual of Brewing
Brewing herbal tea can be a ritualistic experience, a few minutes carved out of the day dedicated to mindfulness and enjoyment. The act of waiting for the water to boil, selecting your tea, and then steeping it to perfection is a form of meditation in motion. It’s a reminder to slow down, to savor the moment, and to indulge in the simple pleasures.
Pairing with Purpose
Herbal teas can be a solo act or a companion to your meals. Pairing them wisely can enhance your dining experience. A tangy hibiscus tea might complement a sweet dessert, while a bold, spicy ginger tea can stand up to a rich meal. Understanding these pairings can elevate your culinary journey, adding a dimension of flavor and function.
Healing with Herbs
The therapeutic properties of herbal teas have been celebrated for centuries. Modern research continues to explore these benefits, often supporting traditional claims. Turmeric tea, for instance, contains curcumin, a compound with potent anti-inflammatory properties. Ginkgo biloba is praised for its potential to improve cognitive function. Each herb carries its medicinal melody, harmonizing with our bodies’ needs.
An Inclusive Brew
Herbal teas are for everyone. Whether you are a caffeine abstainer, a pregnant woman looking for a non-caffeinated comfort drink, or someone looking to ease a specific ailment, there is a blend out there that fits your criteria. It’s an inclusive world where the options are as varied as the people seeking them.
Crafting Your Blend
For those who love a DIY approach, crafting your own herbal tea blend can be a rewarding experience. It allows you to tailor your brew to your taste and health requirements. Grow your herbs or source them from local organic stores, mix, match, and experiment. The process of creating your blend is as therapeutic as drinking the tea itself.
The Community Cup
Herbal teas also serve as a social catalyst. Sharing a pot of tea can be a communal, bonding activity. It’s an invitation to converse, to share stories, and to create memories. Whether it’s a tea party or a quiet cup with a friend, these moments are the threads that weave the social fabric tighter.
Mindfulness in Every Sip
As we sip our way through various blends, we also imbibe a sense of presence and mindfulness. Herbal teas have the subtle power to bring us back to the now, to ground us in the sensations of taste, warmth, and aroma. They remind us that to be fully present is to be alive.
The Liquid Lore of Herbal Teas
The world of herbal teas is a tapestry of flavors, benefits, and choices. It’s a narrative that speaks of history, health, and the heart. As we reach for our next cup, we’re not just choosing a beverage; we’re embracing a tradition that spans across cultures and centuries. We’re making a choice for our well-being and the well-being of the planet.
